3TTravel welcomes you to join the day trip to Meknes and Volubilis, in order to explore the history of the Roman Ruins in Morocco, and the past capital city Meknes, one of the Imperial cities.
After meeting your guide in your hotel or riad at 9am, you will start your day trip to visit to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and Meknes. First you will stop to visit the ancient Roman ruins Volubilis, where you will spend a some time exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting an idea of life during the Roman Empire.
Continue to Moulay Idriss, the Holly city of Morocco and Meknes, where you will have a magnificent view of the Medina. The tour begins with a tour of the walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. Continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. Stop at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco for a long time. Exit through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast square Hedim. On the other side of the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art « Dar Jamai » offers a wide variety of handicrafts for you to see.
On your way back to Fez, the driver can take you to see the view of the Medina from Borj North or South by request. Conclude your tour back in your hotel.

At 9 Am. You will meet your driver at your accommodation in Fes. Then we will begin the adventure of Day trip to Volubilis and Meknes. our first stop through this adventure will be the Dam of Sidi Shahid, where you will be fascinated by the real beauty of nature, and have the chance to take memorable pictures.
The drive will continue to the Roman ruins Volubilis, upon your arrival, you will have the choice to either explore on your own or hire a guide that will explain more the historical context of each site. Exploring the 2000 years – old ruins is where you can take the best photos.
following this, ur drive will take us to the imperial city Meknes, where we will be met by one of the magnificent views of the old Medina.
The tour will begin by exploring the walls with monumental Gates that dates back to the seventeenth century, such as Bab Berdaine and Bab Khemis.
We continue exploring the city by the stables ( Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. Of course, a stop needed at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail which is the only Mosque that Non-Muslims can visit in Morocco.
Then exit through the famous Bab El Mansour on the vast square Hedim. On the Other side of the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art ” Dar Jamai ” offers a wide variety of handcrafts. Of course, you will have the time to have lunch before we start the tour in Meknes.
Our end of the trip will be around 17:00 or 18:00, where we will drop you off at your accommodation.
